I’ve always been interested in sports and exercise. My journey took off when I was at university studying for a BSc(Hons) in Applied Sports Science. From there I have worked in the fitness industry for over 14 years, first in a gym before setting up my own independent business. I’ve build up my learning with additional qualifications and skills to help provide my clients with even more well rounded workouts and knowledge.

Fitness isn’t just a job for me, it’s always been a huge part of my life.  I have competed in triathlons and running events over the years, giving me a focus and drive to keep fit and active.  In 2019 my daughter arrived and since then my training and work focus has changed dramatically, encouraging me to expand my knowledge to include pre- and post-natal training. With the additional of a little boy in 2022 my life has changed again and I’ve had to learn how to juggle life, work and family.

My own training and life experiences have contributed to my working knowledge of fitness.  The combination of my qualifications and personal experience had given me a breath of knowledge but my clients are still helping me to learn more.  Everyone I train is different, has different goals and different personal situations.  Working with my clients has been my greatest learning tool.
