Why not train for an event?

With the Festive season sneaking up and the nights drawing in, staying motivated can be difficult. Having an event to train for can be a great way of staying focused, whether your overall goals are to do with running or your focus is increasing fitness.

Check out some of the events happening both locally and across Scotland early next year.  These are by no means the only events happening in Scotland, it’s always worth a look at both entrycentral.com and scottishrunningguide.com for all the races happening in the UK.

I am also looking at the possibility of starting a beginner’s running club that would happen locally and allow anyone looking to get into running or progress their running to train as part of a group.  If you or anyone you know might be interested, get in touch with me directly through the wesbite, comment on this post or add your friends to the Emma Higgs PT page and the Edinburgh Fitness Collective group on Facebook.  Keep an eye out for more information!
